@Sir_xayden's resemblance to Thor from the Marvel Cinematic Universe is shocking!
In the Marvel superhero movies, Thor is the god of thunder and Asgard royalty. He can control lightning and fights with a hammer. He is a founding member of the Avengers.
@Sir_xayden's vest was created by a friend and the cape is made of a Walmart curtain.

It's always nice to find characters that resemble yourself in media. @Sir_xayden uses this to his advantage when going to conventions. He stays in character and even speaks like Thor to complete the illusion.

Lords of Thunder Thor/Raiden Mash-Up
Avengers/Mortal Kombat
Both Raiden from Mortal Kombat and Thor from Marvel are gods of thunder which makes this mash-up even more impressive!
@Sir_xayden won first place for the first time with this costume. He made the chest piece, arm bracers, and shin guards from craft foam. They were textured with a hot knife, then sanded, sealed, and painted. He painted Yggdrasil, the tree of life, on the cape. The stencil took him hours to cut out. It is his most in-depth build to date and includes LEDs, EVA foam work, and a streamlined bodysuit.

Peter Parker, also known as Spider-Man, was bitten by a radioactive spider and uses his newfound super-abilities to fight crime in New York City.
The best part about this costume, according to @Sir_xayden, is being able jump around and do crazy poses. It's a super fun costume!
