It’s not the most complex cosplay but I first did it before I knew anyone else who even knew what the series was and when it having an anime was still just a dream. I love this cosplay because every time I do it I change it a bit. This isn’t even the most current picture I have. I’ve updated the mask, styled the wig different, do different outfits and it’s just a character I really love.

"Organizing the Katsucon 2020 Dorohedoro meet up was incredible. It started as just me and two other friends wanting to cosplay the devils and turned into a huge group with most of the characters cosplayed. It was great to be the one to bring together that many people who all love my favorite series."

@DomGoldOfficial began cosplaying when his sister introduced him to the hobby. Among his first cosplays were Ben Tennyson from the cartoon Ben 10 and Sora from video game Kingdom Hearts.
Coming up for @DomGoldOfficial is a foray into 3D printing, which he is currently trying for the first time. He is interested in guesting at more conventions and would love to keep doing it!

Metal Gear Solid
Known as "the man who makes the impossible possible," Solid Snake is a character in stealth video game Metal Gear Solid. Hardened soldier, Snake has high tolerance for paint and impressively honed reflexes. Snake has an iron will and no desire to die.

@DomGoldOfficial made the headband and tactical vest part of his cosplay himself. He learned to work with grommets and made the headband to look permanently furrowed.

Big Boss
Metal Gear
Big Boss is a legendary soldier in video game series Metal Gear. Big Boss' genetics were used to create other very successful soldiers. Though he thrives in conflict, Big Boss is tolerant of peace and known to show some mercy. Big Boss was very patriotic when he was young, willing to give his life for his country. As he aged, he became less eager to give his life as a political tool. Big Boss also enjoys dog sledding.

Favorite Conventions
"Holiday Matsuri is a great big con with a smaller con feel. Everyone from all over comes but it’s not so big that you can't see everything and everyone. The events are great and its artist alley is one of my favorites. Dragoncon is great for partying and doing bigger obscure cosplays because they’ll definitely get appreciated."
Advice For New Cosplayers
"Do it for fun! If you don’t know how to do something just do your best. You can’t get good at something till you get bad at it first. Also cosplay who YOU want to cosplay, especially the more obscure characters you may love."
