Emily is one of the main characters of claymation feature film The Corpse Bride. Though tenacious in her desire for a groom, Emily is a kindhearted reanimated corpse. Tragically murdered, Emily seeks to have a proper marriage with protagonist Victor, who is practicing his vows when Emily accepts his proposal.

@eve_talisman_cosplay’s first cosplay was as X-23 from the movie Logan, which she cosplayed to FanExpo Boston. When she watched Logan, she was drawn to the character so much so that she started planning what she could find of the outfit and what she could make herself.
"I fell in love with comics when I was 11 and watched the first Andrew Garfield Spider-Man movie. I wanted to be Spider-Man. Looking up to these characters, both seeing myself in them and wanting to be them, first inspired me to want to translate these characters into real life."
@eve_talisman_cosplay cosplays as a catharsis. She loves to decompress with a creative outlet that has a clear sense of progress after a stressful day at work. @eve_talisman_cosplay is looking forward to refining her skills with EVA foam in the coming year.
Leia Organa
Star Wars
Leia Organa is one of the main characters in the classic film series Star Wars. Princess of her own planet, Leia is a capable leader of the rebel forces that are rising up against the empire.
@eve_talisman_cosplay took two bra pads and laid a green fabric on top. To get the gold effect on the cosplay, she used EVA foam sealed with plastidip. They used EVA foam dowels to make the chain. I thrifted a long red dress and cut out rectangles for the skirt. The skirt was cut out of a thrifted dress and the hair attachments are secured with bobby pins.

BillY Loomis
Scream
Antagonist of the original Scream feature film, Billy is a lover of the horror film genre. Billy has abandonment issues with stemming from his mother leaving him as a child that he takes too far. Billy is romantically involved with Sidney Prescott, whose family he blames for his mothers abandonment.

Advice For New Cosplayers
"Just go for it! If you want to cosplay as a character, but you’re not sure how, just start it. Maybe you’ll finish it or maybe you won’t, but you’ll have learned so much from the experience and probably have fun doing it! Also, if you’re confident wearing the outfit and feel like it looks good on you a certain way, wear it like that even if it doesn’t match the character 100%. You’ll look way better and have a much better time wearing your favorite character’s outfit if it looks the way you want on your body, even if it’s not exactly like the original."
