Project Titans tells the story of the Son of Jecht, a Nameless
Independent comic book "Project Titans" was at Collective Con 2021 in Jacksonville, Florida
Project Titans is an independent comic first published in 2019 by Indie comic writer Todd Kelley. The sixth issue was released at Collective Con 2021.
"The response to Project Titans has been great," Kelley said. "There is nothing more rewarding than someone finishing that first arc and they are just blown away by the finale," he added
Kelley, who lives in Tallahassee, recently began woirk on issues seven through ten, which are in production with his artist who he met at Tampa Bay Comic Convention.
"It is an absolute dream come true to have my own indie comic book that resonates wtih people," he said, noting "I still cannot believe it’s a reality."
In addition to Collective Con 2021, Project Titans has been a vendor at various comic conventions in Florida, including Infinity Con Tallahassee and Central Florida Comic Con.
The story of the Son of Jecht
The story follow the journey of the protagonist, the Son of Jecht, who is a Nameless. Marked at birth the Son of Jecht is raised without a name and on his sixteenth birthday he will ascend to become a demigod-like being known as a Titan.
Our story starts the day before his ascension when their island is attacked by a legendary creature called The Shade.
It’s up to Son of Jecht and his two young Titan guides, Halo and Hope, to fend off The Shade and survive until sunrise when Son of Jecht will finally ascend.
"I began working on the story for Project Titans eight years ago, starting on the comic book a couple of years later."
