Dabi
Antagonist in superhero anime and manga series My Hero Academia, Dabi is a member of the league of villains. He is stubborn in pursuit of his goals and has pyrokinetic abilities that manifest as blue flames. This ability can threaten his health.

"I made/altered the whole outfit with the exception of the shoes. I tore and burned the bottom of the jacket to give it the effect that the character’s jacket has, I hand glued the details of the collar, and I placed all the pins on the jacket and pants one by one to replicate the stitches. The pants were originally leggings so I ripped the seams and sewed extra fabric and lace on the sides to give it a looser effect and make them more comfortable to wear, plus I added pockets so I could carry my own items during cons. I also styled the wig by crimping it and teasing it until I achieved the volume I needed."

"A week before Metrocon 2022, a group of friends and I decided to cosplay Demon Slayer Character with another friend. 3 days before the con, I sewed, hand-painted the cape and top of the outfit, and styled the wig from scratch for Rengoku from Demon Slayer. It was very stressful, but I had a lot of fun with the process."
@PJ.Pancake’s first cosplay was Present Mic from My Hero Academia, which they wore to Holiday Matsuri in 2021. They were inspired to cosplay by seeing their friends pictures on social media and has since dived onto the scene.
"I hope to grow as a cosplayer by creating more content of the characters I enjoy and make me happy. I also plan to continue competing at every possible con to build up as much experience as I can. My goal is to earn awards at bigger conventions and possibly start competing out-of-state at some point!"
Aki Hayakawa
Chainsaw Man
Aki Hayakawa is one of the core characters of manga and airing anime series Chainsaw Man. Aki is a devil hunter driven to hunt devils as a means to seek revenge against the Gun Devil. Loyal yet not the most clean-cut, Aki has unique ways of showing he cares. He lets Denji, the half-devil protagonist, and Power, a devil in possession of a human corpse, live with him as they hunt devils as a team. In this group, Aki takes on an almost parental role. He is the only full human of the group, but has made pacts with various devils to give him the ability to go toe to toe with the devils that he faces throughout the series.

Weather Report
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
Weather Report is one of the main characters of anime series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean. He is an amnesiac who likes to walk on his tip toes and prefers to whisper rather than to speak at full volume. Weather has an ability, known in-universe as a stand, that lets him control the weather to a potentially catastrophic degree.
Weather Report enjoys a position of trust in the protagonist, Jolyne Cujoh's, circle of friends. Weather helps her out but ultimately has his own motivations.

"Holiday Matsuri, MetroCon, WasabiCon and Sugoi Expo are some of my favorite conventions. They are all very well organized and have a good balance between panels, competitions, vendors, and other events, so there is always something interesting to do for any type of con-goer."
Advice For New Cosplayers
"As I am a new cosplayer myself, I recommend to always have fun cosplaying. Whether is making props, sewing outfits, styling wigs, or just deciding which cosplay to purchase, everything should be part of the fun and something enjoyable."
