Deku
Portagonist of anime series My Hero Academi, hero-in training Deku, also known as Izuku Midoriya, is on a mission to become the world's strongest hero. He is a student training to be a a hero at prestigious UA high school. He is a hard worker who has proven himself to have a hero's instinct, and is taken on as a protege by the current number one pro hero All Might.

"I only made the gear for Deku. Everything for his armor and mask were made out of EVA foam. It took me about a month to make it all! The outfit was bought from a friend. Learning patterns is easy if it has a template but by hand, it’s tough."

@VanicSkys’ first cosplay was Stan Marsh from Southpark. Afterwards, they gained confidence and cosplayed Yuichiro from Seraph of the End. His first anime convention was Megacon in 2020.

Denji
Chainsaw Man
Denji is the main character of anime series Chainsaw man. He is a destitute young man who must pay off his father's steep debt to the mafia. All Denji wants is to be treated as a person. He is motivated by things that are delicacies to him, such as bread with jam, and wishes to be intimate with others. Denji is loud and true to his motivations.
Denji's shirt was splattered with acrylic paint to give the blood effect. The helmet base was made out of EVA foam and the handles were made out of PVC pipes as well. It took @VanicSkys roughly 2-3 months to make. SKS props has a tutorial on Youtube that @VanicSkys watched to help inspire him to both want to complete the project and build it at all.

Red Riot
My Hero Academia
Red Riot, civilian name Kirishima Ejirou, is one of the supporting characters of anime series My Hero Academia. He has the ability to reinforce his body, making him nearly indestructible. He is training to become a professional hero and is in the same class as protagonist Izuku Midoriya. He has a very easygoing personality despite him unyielding ability.
Most of @VanicSkys' Kirishima cosplay is made out of EVA foam. It took him about 4-6 months to make the cosplay. He was able to watch YouTube videos and use printed templates to help him complete the hero look. Kirishima is one of @VanicSkys' favorite characters.

"The first comic con I’ve been to was Central Florida Comic Con. The convention was well put and very organized! It was outgoing and impressive how they handle everyone. They had nice food, lovely people, and great voice actors!"

"For new cosplayers, I recommend to always have a budget. When it comes to cosplay, it doesn’t matter if it’s cheap or expensive. Whatever you can afford or work with, it’ll turn out amazing no matter what!"
